Exercise No. 5: Non-objective Shapes

In this exercise, the students are task to close their eyes and draw randomly and continuously on a half cartolina. After that, different shapes will be formed and each spaces will be colored differently and make sure that no spaces will be left uncolored.

In this exercise, I learned that  non-objective shapes have no object reference and no subject matter suggestion. Essentially, the artwork does not represent or depict a person, place or thing in the natural world. Usually, the content of the work is its color, shapes, brushstrokes, size, scale, and, in some cases, its process. 

Exercise No. 4: Nine Techniques

In this activity the students are task to draw a tree and apply the nine techniques of shading namely; horizontal, vertical, diagonal, cross, zigzag, spirals, circle, dots and smudge. Each shading has its own effect on the drawing.

In this exercise, I learn how to execute the nine techniques of shading. l found out  that different applications require different methods of shading to produce different results.

Exercise No. 3: The Human Face

 In this exercise, the students are task to draw a human face step by step. A pattern was used to guide the students.

In this exercise, I learn how to draw a human face. I learn how to use symmetry so that there will be balance in my drawing.

Exercise No. 2: Bottle and Plants with Shades

  In this exercise, the students are task to draw the bottle and the plants in their perspective or on how they perceived it in their sits and then apply proper shading. Shading is a process used in drawing for depicting levels of darkness.

 In this exercise, I have improved my shading skills. I learn how to apply  proper shading in my drawings to make it look real.

Exercise No. 1: Visualization

                In this activity, the students are task to create a visualization on freedom, strength, unity and energy. After that, the students will explain why they choose that kind of symbol or visualization to represent that particular word.

             

                 Through this exercise, I learn how to visualized things or how to use a particular object to represent something. Visualization can be used in the teaching learning process as a motivation to the students. In this exercise, I have developed my critical thinking skills in analyzing the best representation of freedom etc.
